Danilo Rea, an Italian jazz pianist. Born in Vicenza, Italy in 1957. He graduated from the Santa Cecilia music conservatory, Rome. In 1975, he made his debut in Rome Trio with Roberto Gatto (and Enzo Pietropaoli). Rea has performed alongside Curtis Fuller, Curtis Fuller, Steve Grossman and Chet Baker. Rea is a popular performer in pop music and has performed alongside Pino Daniele and Gianni Morandi. In 1989, he was a solo performer in “Requiem For Pierpaolo Pasolini”, a concert by Roberto De Simone at Teatro San Carlo in Napoli.
