A well-known local jazz legend from Sonoma County was allegedly recorded in a Petaluma chicken coop. This record is known for the song “Cotati Funk”, but it’s not. It is hated for not living up the hype. It’s a decent album with a Blue Note feel to it, if you look at it as it is. The sound quality is excellent, especially considering it’s a 1980 record.
