rad. is “Oakland Funk”, a San Francisco Bay Area musician. It’s a tribute to Tower of Power, Cold Blood and Sly Stone. It stands for “Rose Ann Dimalanta”, a singer/songwriter. A talented keyboard soloist and singer who donated her services to Prince’s New Power Generation. She often employs heavy-weight musicians, including Santana, Herbie Hanscock, and Prince.
