Trumpet player, musician, composer/arranger and music producer. Walter White was raised in a musical home near Detroit, MI. This inspired him to start his musical career. Walter began playing the tuba and baritone trumpet at age nine. Walter was trained at the Interlochen Center For the Arts and The Juilliard School. He also studied at The Banff Center and The University of Miami. His former teachers were William Vacchiano and Vincent Cichowicz. Mel Broiles and Leon Rapier. Jerome Amend and Kenny Wheeler are his former teachers. Walter’s trumpet playing was expressive and he collaborated with many top musicians, including Dave Holland, Bob James, Dave Holland. The list also includes David Matthews Manhattan Jazz Orchestra, with whom Walter recorded seven gold-winning records for Japan. Walter recorded and toured with Maynard Ferguson in the early 1990’s. He is featured on the CD Live from London playing “The Fox Hunt”, a duet recorded at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in London’s Soho.
