Mark Allaway graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he studied composition, arranging and saxophone. His first career was as a performer, which included a European tour in the saxophone quartet Itchy Fingers and session work on numerous television and film productions. Mark now focuses on composition. Mark composed the music for the award-winning play Singular Women. He also worked with Quadrophonic, a contemporary woodwind band. Mark has composed music for many television projects including the French television documentary Sans Retour and advertisements for Harpic Power Plus. He has scored short films such as Adam’s Garden and The Last Laugh. The latter won the LA BAFTA award for Best Short Film 2008.
