The Allman Betts Band

The Allman Betts Band was formed by the sons of Gregg Allman, (Devon Allman), and Dickey Betts, (Duane Betts). Their World Tour began on March 27, 2019, and they sold twelve of their eighteen first shows. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band, the show features new music and songs from their solo projects. It also includes classic Allman Brothers tunes and Gregg Allman tunes. The new album is due to be released on June 28th 2019. It was recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios by Matt Ross-Spang, who also produced the albums of John Prine, Jay Isbell, Margo price, John Prine, and Elvis Presley. Chuck Leveall (former keyboardist for Allman Brothers Band) and Peter Levin (ex-Rolling Stones keyboardist), both appeared on the album. The Allman Betts Band features Devon Allman, Duane Betts and Berry Oakley Jr., who is the son of Berry Oakley, original Allman Brothers Band bassist. Johnny Stachela plays slide guitar and John Ginty plays Hammond B3 (Robert Randolph/Dixie Chicks). R. Scott Bryan (Sheryl Crowe) and John Lum are the Devon Allman Project drummers. Brotherhood of Light will provide visuals and lighting.
