Fabián Araya

Fabian Araya was a 1986 Argentinean born. At the age of 14 he began playing professional music. He made his first presentation at Colon Theatre one year later. He studied saxophone and flute with Alejandro Santos. This opened him up to the world of jazz. 2006: Presented at the Jazz Festival Miramar. Presents with musicians such as Agustin Pereyra-Lucena (USA), Hilliard Green (USA), George Haslam, England, Yann Tiersen, France, among others. These presentations were made all over Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay with many presentations on radio or television. At the National University Of Art in Buenos Aires, he studied conducting and composition. He was an arranger and conductor in 2012 for Ricardo Astrada, the producer of the faena Hotel. He composed incidental music in 2013 for Fashion Films by Courtenay Nearbourg, Lucas Flores Piran and filmaker Pablo Finkelstein. He toured extensively in France, Spain, and Portugal with Orquesta Metafisica in 2014. His first solo album, “Lunatico”, was released in 2015. It is available in over 150 countries. He made several presentations in Paris’ “La Bellevilloise”, and toured France and Portugal in 2016. He presented Intervencion Tango in 2017 with Santiago Berros, a saxophonist. His presentations included a tour of Europe of 20 shows under the sponsorship of Portugal. The presentation received very positive reviews from both the German and Portuguese media.
