Romain Baret

He is a founding member of the Collectif PinceOreilles. In 2007, he received his DEM Jazz from the music Conservatory of Chambery. He also enjoys the Laurent Dehors orchestra Du Genie in Alpages, while he studies. Denis Badault selected him to his Rhone-Alpin orchestra, and then he met Brad Shepik. He created the group Aquarium Orchestra, with which he will record two albums, Aquarium Orchestra and Le ciel au dessus de chuzhii, and will perform on beautiful jazz stages – Jazz a Vienne (Sunset-Sunside), Balelec, Jazz en Marciac… He can be both a sideman or substitute for many groups, including Yo, Trio Enchant(i),er,Root’secours and Didone. He was a member of the 4tet Mediterranean jazz Azzango, for which he recorded and composed the first album Mediterraneo in Barcelona (Nuevos Medios/ Harmonia Mundi) in 2011. He then went on three tours in France and Spain between 2012 and 2013. Since 2010, he has been working with Sebastien Nacca and Michel Molines to create a dynamic musical research. Split Moments was their first album (Label Pince -Oreilles). He also recorded with the Gregory Sallet Quint (Continuation echoes rhythm and rhythm) as well as Philippe Soriano’s La Grinta. He was a member of the Foolish Ska Jazz Orchestra (jazz world), W.A.T.T.S. (contemporary music octet), as well as the energetic Comptes de Korsakoff (and the Panoramic Project).
