Bohuslan Big Band, one of Northern Europe’s most prominent big bands, is an integral part of the Scandinavian Jazz scene. Bohuslan Big Band’s history dates back to the 1800s, when it was one of several military orchestras in Sweden called Bohus Battalion. The band grew to be one of Sweden’s two professional big bands, with sixteen full-time musicians.
