Ari Brown

Ari Brown is an arranger, composer and educator whose principal instrument is the saxophone. He is a performer at Urban Gateways and Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago. Many music legends have performed with him, including Anthony Braxton and Muhal Richard Abrams. Lou Rawls, B.B. King, Chuck Berry and Elvin Jones, as well as Andrew White, Della Reese and Billy Eckstein. He has also performed with Chicago Symphony Orchestra in “Malcom X”, the Chicago premiere of the Anthony Davis opera. He also played a solo clarinet on the score of Universal Studio’s motion movie, The Babe. He has toured the globe, including Japan, Europe and Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Vandercook College of Music and has recorded numerous songs. from http://aacmchicago.org
