Fridrik Karlsson, an Icelandic musician/songwriter. He studied jazz/rock and classical guitar. In 1983, he was a member of Mezzoforte and released the U.K. number 20 hit “Garden Party”. He has been a part of the soundtracks to musicals like Saturday Night Fever, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Evita. His TV work has included his accompaniment of Madonna, Jose Carreras, and Tom Jones. Karlsson, who is also a member of Boyzone and Cliff Richard’s singles and albums, has appeared with them. Karlsson lives in London and is a session musician.
