Elisabeth Coudoux, a German cellist, is at the crossroads between different musical genres, including free improvisation, experimental and new music, as well as jazz. She graduated from classical studies with a jazz degree at Cologne’s music university with Frank Gratkowski, Prof. Dieter Mannderscheid and other musicians. Apart from her own projects, such as “Emissatett”, for which she composes, she is also part of many ensembles. She plays cello in interdisciplinal projects with poets, visual artists and dancers.
