Jordon Dixon was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up in a musical family. At the age of 12, he began his musical journey. He was 12 years old when he began his musical journey. He enlisted as a Marine Musician in the United States Marine Corps in 2002, at the tender age of 19. After eleven years of distinguished service, he moved to Washington D.C. to study and play music with some the most talented musicians and instructors. Jordon’s debut album, “A conversation Among Friends”, was released in April 2016. He was named the Washington City Paper’s “Best Tenor Saxophonist” for 2016. Jordon received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz Studies at the University of the District of Columbia just one month after the album was released.
