This is Kid Ory’s Creole Orchestra supporting Roberta Dudley as Blues. It was just one month ago that the band recorded their historic sides under Spike’s Seven Pods of Pepper Orchestra. This was Roberta Dudley’s only record. Ory’s group also recorded that month with Ruth Lee, a Blues singer. Ory’s Sunshine Orchestra was accompanying Ory.
