Ann Dyer

Ann Dyer, a talented chance-taking singer, was one of the top performers at the 1994 Monterey Jazz Festival. She stretched out standards and really put a lot of emotion into Ornette’s “Lonely Woman”. In 1979, she graduated Mills College with a modern dance degree. However, her singing received better reviews. Dyer recorded her debut album for the Mr. Brown label, 1993.
