He was presented with a Certificate of Accomplishment in 1993 for being the “Most Improved Drum student” at Music Technical Institute, Minneapolis. He became the father of Jazzlyn just a few months after graduating from high school. He continued his musical career, but remained an active musician. He began to program music to accompany his drumming. He received a Certificate of Achievement in 1998 from the 8th Billboard Song Contest. He received two “Honorable Mentions”, in 1999, for his efforts in the world category of the 9th Billboard Song Contest. He released his first album with Chi-Lin Records, Taiwan in 1999.
