Maciej Fortuna

Maciej Fortuna, a Polish trumpet player and composer, is also a musical educator. He is considered to be one of the most versatile and dynamic young jazz musicians in Poland. Maciej graduated from The University of Poznan Law School in 2007 and earned a master’s degree in The Academy of Music, Piotr Wojtasik jazz trombone class (2010). He has played with many famous artist from Poland, Europe and USA (Piotr Wojtasik, Jerzy Milian, Jerzy Glowczewski, Janusz Brych, Stanislaw Fialkowski, Piotr Kaluzny, Krzysztof Przybylowicz, Zbigniew Wrombel, Marcin Jahr, Przemyslaw Raminiak, Mack Goldsbury, Reggie Moore, Ernst Bier, Stefan Weeke, Larry Porter, Frank Parker, Ray Blue). As a soloist, he has won many prizes. Maciej Fortuna was also a session musician. He performed with many artists and recorded for radio or television.
