Sue Keller, an American singer and pianist, was born in Allentown, PA on July 7, 1952. She took voice lessons and studied flute. She also played guitar and sang in school operas. After many musical careers, including playing rock, she decided to focus more on vintage jazz/ragtime. Sue Keller founded Ragtime Press in 1992 to publish rags of lesser-known composers. HVR was established to record her music. YouTube has many videos of her performing music by W. C. Handy (Scott Joplin), Ray Charles, and other artists. Keller graduated from DePauw University. From 2003 to 2009, Sue Keller was the festival artistic director for Scott Joplin International Ragtime Foundation. She was awarded the Scott Joplin Award 2010 for outstanding lifetime achievement and support for ragtime. From Wikipedia
