Beverly Kenney was a tragic figure among jazz singers. Although there’s not much information about this young lady from Harrison, NJ I have discovered that she was a tall jazz singer (just take a look at her work) in 1950s. Unfortunately, her star was growing and jazz was being replaced by more modern music. She committed suicide in New York City in 1960. The following are her albums: Born to Be Blue, Swing with me Like Yesterday Beverly Kenney sings for Johnny Smith Beverly Kenney sings for Playboys. Beverly Kenney is particularly popular among Jazz Vocal listeners from Japan. You can also access user-contributed text under the Creative Commons By–SA License.
