Jim Ketch has a passion for music and it shows in his career. He is an experienced and versatile artist, with significant skills in both jazz and classical idioms. He has been a professional trumpeter, conductor and performer in Europe, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and other countries. He has been a featured or solo performer at 15 International Trumpet Guild conferences, as well as at conferences at Arizona State University, Ohio State University and Ithaca College. Ketch has performed as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician in hundreds of educational and concert venues across the country. Ketch’s jazz and classical performances include solo recitals and guest artist appearances with bands, orchestras, and jazz ensembles. He also performs a variety of chamber music and commercial music. He is a versatile performer. He has performed music by many artists, including Pat Metheny to Louis Armstrong and J.S.
