This rare and highly sought-after 7″ includes the cultissme Sexopolis. It is the iconic and hexagonal cinematic groove track. The most experienced record hunters consider it to be the greatest Hammond funk track ever recorded in Europe. A ferocious instrumental spiral featuring a Hammond organ and voyeur guitarist, as well as dominating drums and white heat chords. The film’s soundtrack, “Le Mariage Collectif”, is a 4-minute 40-minute explosion of energy. It reminds me of the most dazzling instrumentals by Vannier, Columbier and Gainsbourg from the golden mass grave in the 60s/70s. On the arrangements of this psychedelic tune, we actually find Jean-Pierre Sabar (keyboard master and collaborator of the ‘homme a tete de choux’ soundtrack). Jean-Pierre Mirouze wrote the music for this film. He is also a well-known musician and director of many films and documentaries about art, dance, and science.
