Description Morta, a five-piece instrumental band from Toronto, Ontario, is led by Mark Rynkun (bassist/composer), Stacey Yerofeyeva (keyboard player), Patrick O’Reilly (guitarist), George Nikolov (drummer), and Kyle Woodard (saxophonist). The members of this band are graduates of Humber College’s music program. They have had the opportunity to study under some of Toronto’s most renowned musicians, such as Larnell Lewis and Mark Kelso, Roberto Occhipinti (Dave Restivo), Pat LaBarbera, Kirk MacDonald, and Pat LaBarbera. This band was formed in 2010 and has been making a name in Toronto’s music scene. They have been compared to bands like Brian Blade.
