Rebecca Nash, a pianist, is a shining light for jazz musicians. Rebecca is a performer and arranger as well as composer, composer, and educator. She also leads ATLAS, her originals project that features Nick Malcolm (trumpet), Tom Seminar Ford on guitar, Chris Mapp on bass, Matt Fisher on drums, Sara Colman on vocals, and Sara Colman (vocals). Their debut album Peaceful King was released by the band on Whirlwind Records. Rebecca is also involved with various ensembles, including Dee Byrne, saxophonist, ENTROPI. They just finished their second album tour of Moment Frozen, which can be found at Whirlwind Recordings. Beats and Pieces trumpeter Nick Walters has released his debut album, Awakening, on 22a Records. SARA COLMAN is currently working with Percy Pursglove and Jonathan Silk as well as special guests and folk fusion group FLEKD. Rebecca was also selected for the TAKE FIVE talent-development programme, which was run by Serious in 2017. She was made Honorary Associate of Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama last year. Recent musical highlights include live performances at Marsden Jazz Festival BBC Radio 3 and other internationally renowned jazz festivals like Cheltenham Jazz Festival (Manchester Jazz Festival), London Jazz Festival (London Jazz Festival), Cambridge Jazz Festival (Cambridge Jazz Festival), Glastonbury Festival, Scarborough Jazz Festival). Rebecca performs regularly at renowned UK clubs like Pizza Express Dean St., Ronnie Scott’s and The Vortex. Rebecca is also a jazz educator at a national level. She currently works for The National Youth Jazz Collective and Birmingham Jazzlines. She also teaches jazz piano at Bristol Cathedral Choir School.
