Born in Los Angeles, multi-instrumentalist Nash’s interest in music started at an early age. His father, Dick Nash (tromboneist) and his uncle Ted Nash (reedman) were both prominent jazz and studio musicians. He was a young lion, before that term became a marketing buzzword. One of Nash’s most significant associations is with Wynton Marsalis’ Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Jazz Composers Collective.
