Mike Neer, a lap steel guitarist, composer and arranger, is a regular in NYC’s music scene. He was formerly a member of many of NYC’s most prestigious bands. Mike Stern taught him guitar. After studying with Steve Khan and Peter Leitch, he switched to steel guitar. He learned Hawaiian style from masters such as Sol Hoopii.
