Kristian Persson’s six-piece group Neighbourhood quickly proved to be one the most promising on the Swedish jazz scene. Their debut album, Maybe Tomorrow, is now available. It’s a lively mix of jazz, soul, and funk that is influenced by the 70’s. The music has a pulse and makes it difficult to stay still. The collection also features a few ballads that are melancholic but full of hope. Kristian Persson (trombone) is one of the members.
