Italian drummer Tiziano Tononi and saxophonist Daniele Cavallanti founded Nexus in 1981. They were an avant-garde jazz ensemble that was constantly evolving. Today, Nexus releases its eleventh album with unchanged passion. The Sound Continuity is represented by the combined presence of both The Violin and The Vibes. This time, their Timbres are paired with The Tenor Sax and The Trombone. Tony Cattano on Trombone and Luca Gusella on Vibes are the two newcomers to The Nexus world, while four of six Nexus members are veterans. Emanuele Parrini, Violinist, and Silvia Bolognesi are the Leaders of Cavallanti and Tononi. They have a musical compatibility that is consolidated by playing in different settings, both live as well as in the studio with The J, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Raoul Bjorkenheim, and Tiziana Ghiglioni.
