Sharon Rae North, a talented singer, sings jazz (straight ahead, contemporary, smooth standards). The Grammy Awards’ Best Jazz Vocal Album category saw her latest album, a Smooth Jazz/Adult Contemporary EP called Sincerely Yours. It was the first ballot contender. Chris “Big Dog”, a two-time Grammy nominee, produced the album’s first single. It was a cover version of Sting’s “Sister Moon” and soared to #4 Smoothjazz.com’s Top 50 Albums. The album is currently charting and being played on many playlists around the world. It charted in the U.S. as well as the U.K., where the song reached #14 on U.K. Soul Chart. Sincerely Yours will be a juggernaut and will propel her career in a new direction. . Her final CD, “Gee Baby”, was a collection of jazz standards that followed the lead of her first studio album, “The Way You Made Me Feel”, which is a Smooth Jazz/Adult Contemporary project. It continues to be airplayed in international markets and has received a lot of praise. Sharon sounds as good live as in the studio. She gives a great performance and has performed for numerous national acts including Joe Sample, the Jazz Crusaders and Patti LaBelle. She has opened for many artists, including Chaka Khan and Lalah Hathaway, Stanley Clark and Poncho Sanchez, Chuck Mangione, Chuck Mangione as well as Bob Baldwin, Bob Baldwin, Bob Baldwin, Bob Baldwin, and others.
