Marilena Paradisi

Marilena is a vocalist, composer, improviser and tireless explorer of the human voice. Her work includes jazz, total improvisation, and modern classics. She was named one of the “Best New Talents” and has been a leader on seven albums, in collaboration with international and Italian musicians. She studied jazz, ragas, and hindustani classic in India. She performed at the Bangalore Jazz Festival with Louis Banks, an Indian pianist. She was the Lead Voice (soprano), for Contemporary Classical Music’s Nucleo Theatron Ensemble del Cristiano Serino Etere Project, a world-premiere at the Vivaverdi Multikulti Festival. She teaches basic psycho-physical training, which allows her to sing in professional settings, such as Jazz, Rock, and R.
