Jim Peterik, Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, guitarist/keyboardist, has revealed his new smooth jazz project Jim Peterik’s Lifeforce. He is the founder of both Survivor, and The Ides Of March and has contributed 18 Top 10 hits. Three of them, “Vehicle,” and “The Search Is Over” were Grammy-winning. The Grammy-winning “Eye Of the Tiger”, a Rocky III theme, was also a hit. 1. It was not known that the rock legend was actually a musician who grew up listening to smooth jazz and new-age music. Peterik stated, “My wife Karen of 39 years and I have been huge admirers since day one of Pat Metheny and David Grusin. We also love Acoustic Alchemy and Keiku Matsui.
