This is the Playscape’s “house band”. Michael Musillami, founder and president, is on guitar. George Sovak plays alto and tenor saxes. Paul Arslanian plays piano and Dave Shapiro plays bass. Claire Arenius plays drums. Musillami and Arslanian each contributed three tracks. Sovak wrote the other two. Although the album is full of fine, energetic playing, it lacks the same level of compositional daring as Musillami’s solo albums or the 2000 Motion Poetry release, “UPS”, which featured Musillami. Musillami’s tunes are the most popular, especially the fast-paced 3/4 workout “UPS”, and the dreamy, pulsing “Those Times.” Allmusic
