Margo Rey, a singer and songwriter, was born in Acapulco in Mexico. She was raised in Ft. Worth in Texas. Two of her #1 dance songs, one original Christmas song, as well as numerous adult pop hits on the national charts have been hit. Margo’s music was discovered by Michael Blakey, a five-time Grammy-nominated record producers, shortly after she moved to Los Angeles. He is the president of Organica Music Group, which he founded with Ron White. Margo Rey was the first signee of the label. Rey’s song, “Let The Rain”, that she co-wrote and recorded with John Oates, was on the charts for 21 consecutive weeks. This track was titled “Hot Shot Debut” by Billboard Mainstream AC charts. It also earned her praises in the magazine’s “Bubbling Below” column. In August 2012, the radio single “Between Us”, which was the next radio song, climbed to #21 in the Billboard AC Chart. Margo Rey’s Habit album, which was released by Organica Music Group in July 2012, contains a wide range of songs that resonate with all kinds of emotions. Her latest single, “Tempted”, is the first female cover of the classic song by Squeeze. It debuted at #28 on Billboard’s National AC Airplay Chart. Rey has been touring to support her albums and appearing at Las Vegas clubs. She also accompanied Dave Koz on his “Dave Koz u0026 Friends Christmas Show 2012” tour between Christmas and Thanksgiving 2012.
