The American pops maestro Jeff Tyzik is well-known. Tyzik is a consummate musician and is well-known for his original programming, brilliant arrangements, and engaging relationships with all age groups. Tyzik celebrates his 15th season as Principal Music Conductor at the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. In the 2008/09 season, Tyzik will also assume a new role of Principal Pops Orchestra Conductor at the Oregon Symphony. He continues to be Principal Pops conductor at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Tyzik is highly sought-after as a guest conductor in North America. Recent guest appearances include the Boston Pops and the Philadelphia Orchestra at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
