Donna Deussen’s singing is praised for its “agile musicianship” and “wise good taste”. (John McDonough. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Boston, Donna started performing and recording in pop/rock bands after moving to Los Angeles. She then decided to pursue the “art of Jazz” and studied privately with Tierney, who was one of her many influences, along with Ella Fitzgerald and Carmen McRae. For several years, Donna has been performing in the southwestern U.S. She has recently performed at the Beverly Hills Art Fair and Malibu Winery, Millenium Hotel (downtown LA), Vitello’s, Vitello’s (Studio City), Whisper Lounge At The Grove, Cal Tech Summer Jazz Series, Pasadena, the Inn At Morro Bay, Tempe Arts Festival, Arizona (AZ) 2007.
