Michael Rabinowitz, a cutting-edge bassoonist, is his name. Since over 30 years, he has been improvising. His ability to master swing, be-bop and world music, as well as classical and free form, has led him to collaborate with many artists, including Dave Douglas, Joe Lovano and Wynton Marsalis. Michael is the founder of the Charles Mingus Orchestra as well as the leader of his own quartet, Bassoon in The Wild.
