Ted Quinlan is widely regarded as Canada’s most versatile guitarist. His talents are highly sought after as a jazz musician, session musician and writer, as well as educator. Ted is the Head, Guitar Department at Humber College’s Toronto Music Program. Ted is a regular sideman and has performed with Chet Baker (Freddie Hubbard), Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Michael Brecker, Joey DeFrancesco, Maria Schneider, Dave Liebman, and Dave Holland. As If, his debut album received a Juno nomination in Contemporary Jazz. Other recordings include performances on Doug Riley’s Con Alma, Radioland Records’ Tribute to Wes Montgomery and Phil Dwyer’s Road Stories. He also recorded Ted Warren’s First Time caller, Dave Restivo’s Prayer for Humankindness, Radioland Records’ Tribute to Wes Montgomery, and Radioland Records’ Tribute to Wes Montgomery.
