Marek Raduli was a south-west Polish native who was born in 1959. He completed a comprehensive musical education (percussion class) in 1980. He has been a professional guitarist since 1982 in popular and well-respected pop and rock bands, including “Budka Suflera”, one of the most prominent supergroups in Poland. He contributed to more than 30 albums that were recorded with top performers. He worked with jazz musicians and continued to develop his interest in fusion music. His own album, “MSS”, was produced. It was later reissued two times (1998 and 2001). Raduli was named “Guitarist of the Year” in 1997 by “Gitara i Bas”, the most prestigious Polish music magazine. Since then, he has occupied top spots on the magazine’s charts. Raduli has been invited as a lecturer to numerous musical training sessions all over Poland since 1999. He started his own band, “Pi-eR-2” in 2003. He formed a trio with two of his friends, Wojtek Pilichowski, who was the most versatile Polish bassist, and was named “Balist of the Year” by several music magazines. He is also a drummer of the rising generation, well-known for his technical virtuosity and author of numerous handbooks on how to play the bass. Tomek Losowski, a young Polish percussionist, was his partner. They were both named “the Best Rhythmic section” by the above-mentioned music magazine “Gitara i Bas”, in 2004. Raduli can also be found in other settings, such as. Raduli has also been a member of several other groups, including those formed by Krzysztof Scieranski, a well-known European solo bassist. However, his own trio was the ‘Number One Project. Their debut was made in Germany at the “Ingolstadter Jazz Tage 2003”. Raduli was heard in many other formations for a while. He played in a band called “Funk dE Nite”, which included trumpeter Saskia Leo (Holland), bassist Steve Logan, USA, and a keyboard.
