Aaron Northern

Aaron Northern is a veteran Music Producer. He has credits on many Memphis media and music projects, including radio commercials (Greg’s Men and Boys Store), TLC Healthcare, Gentle Dental Dentistry, and independent albums. Northern has also produced and performed on his own Jazz albums. Northern collaborated with Michael Tabor, an independent filmmaker, to create music for “Reality MLK Jr.” which starred Judge Joe Brown. Northern is an experienced musician who has played the drums for many R&B, Jazz and Blues performers, including the University of Memphis Jazz Ensemble and Quinn Golden (Ecko Records). Northern performed his first local gig in 2003. He toured Italy with Jackie Johnson, a Memphis-native R&B/Gospel artist (Rufus Thomas and Leny Kravitz), along with the Staple Singers and Hustle & Flow. They visited cities like Naples, Milan and La Spezia. While in Europe in 2004, Northern was able to perform in several concerts and live television shows with Johnson and Andrea Tofanelli, a trumpet recording artist (George Michael. Joe Cocker. Tom Jones) and Davide Dal Pozzolo, saxophonist. Northern was elected to the Memphis chapter of The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2009.
