Aaron Shragge has performed at venues such as Symphony Space and Kennedy Center with Ben Monder and Dave Douglas, Jon Gibson and Wood’s Billy Martin. Aaron serves on the Festival of New Trumpet Music NY/Canada board. The unique instrument, the Dragon Mouth Trumpet, was created by Aaron after more than a decade of studying the Shakuhachi (Japanese Flute and North Indian Vocals). Aaron Shragge is currently involved in a duo with Ben Monder. This Jazz quintet plays Tom Waits’ music and continues his solo work for Dragon Mouth Trumpet/Shakuhachi. From www.aaronshragge.com
