Acoustic Ladyland

Acoustic Ladyland, a London-based group, was formed in 2001. It released Camouflage (a mostly acoustic collection of jazz reworkings) in 2004. Led by vocalist/saxophonist/arranger Pete Wareham (Polar Keep), the music group eventually strayed through the classic rock and roll trappings of its moniker with the next year’s Last Possibility Disco, a assortment of originals that discovered the group breaking clear of the greater traditional areas of the genre, producing a BBC Jazz Award for Greatest Music group of 2005.
