Albatrosh was busy after winning the JazzIntro award 2008 for “Young Jazz Musicians Of The Year”. Their critically acclaimed debut album “Seagull Island”, (InnerEar), was released in 2009. The cohesive press celebrated the release with solid rolls of dice and the big Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet called it “perhaps the most exciting release by Norwegian elite jazz in many decades”. It was also well-received outside of Norway. They released their second album, “Mystery Orchestra with Grenager” in 2010.
