Alexis is a composer and guitarist based in Cyprus. He began playing the piano at the age of nine. A year later, he took guitar lessons. After performing in many projects, he was accepted at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. He studied Jazz Guitar Performance and received a “Cum Laude”, (with Honor) for his BMus degree. Alexis was accepted at Amsterdam Conservatory in 2014. He graduated as a Master Jazz Guitar student with a final recital number of 8. Alexis performed in both small and large ensembles at well-known venues like Melkweg Theatre and Lantaren Venster during his Dutch studies. He took part in jazz workshops, and learned from internationally successful musicians like Jesse Van Ruller, Gilad Hekselman, and Peter Bernstein.
