Allison Au, a Juno-winning Jazz Saxophonist and Composer, is also an Arranger, Composer, and Composer. Allison was born to a Chinese father, and a Jewish mother. She was raised in Toronto’s multicultural city. She was exposed to many musical styles and fell in love with Jazz’s unrestricted freedom. Jazz was Allison’s laboratory for exploration, self-expression and musical experimentation. Her music is a blend of many influences that creates a unique and soulful sound. It’s rich in Jazz tradition but cleverly infused with elements of Classical Pop, R, and Pop.
