Andrew Gould

Andrew Gould, a native New Yorker and saxophonist, has made himself a prominent player on the NYC music scene. He has performed with James Moody and Benny Golson as well as Wallace Roney and Jon Faddis. He was a Semi-Finalist in the 2013 Thelonious Monk Saxophone Competition. He has also recorded for MTV and Universal Records, Warner Bros Music and Capitol Records for famous artists such as Fifth Harmony and Mac Miller. He has performed live on ABC News, ABC News, WBGO Radio, the Today Show, ABC News and the Caramoor Jazz Festival. He has performed all over the U.S.A, including Hawaii, Europe, Asia and Canada. Andrew is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music as well as SUNY Purchase. He continues to teach, giving private lessons and masterclasses for students of all levels. Recent projects include a world premiere performance and recording studio of Wayne Shorter’s “Universe”, horn section work with Grammy-winning hip hop producer 88 Keys, collaborations with Grammy-winning hip hop producer 88 Keys, writing and touring with funk/jazz band Nuf Said – 2nd album “Rise”, and performing/recording alongside pianist Steven Feifke’s Septet and Big Band. Andrew continues to perform and compose with his own band and plans to release his debut album, “First Things First”, in March 2018. Outside In Music will be his first album.
