Andrew Neu

Andrew Neu, a multi-genre musician who blends jazz, R&B and Latin music, is an exciting example of a multi-genre artist.
Andrew is well-respected in the music industry for his work as a saxophonist and woodwind player, arranger/composer, composer, and recording artist. Neu’s powerful stage presence and musicianship continue to attract the attention of critics and audiences alike, whether Neu is performing solo or as a sideman. Passionate best describes him.

Neu regularly tours the globe with Bobby Caldwell and Diane Schuur, as well as Smokey Robinson and Smokey Robinson. He has also shared the stage with Elton John and Mel Torme, Patti Labelle and Mellissa Manchester. As a soloist, Neu has recorded with Bobby Caldwell and Sister Sledge, Peter White, David Sanborn (with Peter White), Buddy DeFranco, Brian Culbertson, Brian Culbertson, and David Sanborn. Neu has performed at major festivals and concert halls around the globe and was accompanied by Joey DeFrancesco and Lew Soloff, Rick Braun and Richard Elliot. Andrew is a long-standing member of Peter Nero, the Philly Pops and has been featured soloist and arranger with both the Brian Pastor Big Band (and the Dave Stahl Band). Both of his bands have recorded CDs. Andrew is part of an all-star band that performs in Los Angeles with Anthony Bonsera, the trumpeter.

Neu, a graduate of Temple University’s Esther Boyer Music School, is a voting member of NARAS as well as the Grammy Awards. Kendor Publishing publishes his big band charts. Printsound Publishing Germany publishes the Michael Lington songbook and his sax quartets.
