Living in Chicago for the majority of my life, I’ve had the privilege to perform with many incredible Chicago musicians, including The Chicago Yestet and Chris Madsen’s Kings of the Lobby, Pocket Radio Bonzo Squad, The Xavier Breaker Coalition, and Pocket Radio Bonzo Squad. There are also many great touring groups. Ernie Watts was my Jazz Showcase friend in 2013 and 2014. In 2016, I was privileged to perform with Donny Mccaslin. I also played “I Wish” alongside Stevie Wonder’s longtime bassist, Nate Watts. I’ve played on many of Chicago’s most famous stages, including the Green Mill and Double Door, Lincoln Hall as well as Reggie’s, Schuba’s (Andy’s), Andy’s (and Grant Park for Chicago Jazz Fest). Every Monday night at Andy’s for Trumpet Summit, every Wednesday night at the Arrogant Frog, with Bonzo Squad, and every Thursday night at Old Crow Smokehouse, with Rendition.
