He has spent the majority of his career creating a unique sound world. This was most evident on the 2015 album, ‘The Watching Bird. Arthur Jeffes, an English musician, producer, and composer is also known as Arthur Jeffes. He is the founder of Penguin Cafe and the frontman. He composes film scores, and recently produced the second album by Sam Lee, a well-known folk singer. Simon Jeffes, the founder of Penguin Cafe Orchestra, is his son. He formed his current band in 2007 after a series memorial concerts commemorating the 10th anniversary of his father’s death. To date, they have released two albums. Springer and Jeffes’ debut album, ‘Aparat’, is their self-titled album. It is an instrumental album that features many keyboards, including the Dulcitone and Harmonium, Celeste, Celeste, and a Spinet, as well as percussion, a Bluthner grand pianist, Bass Melodica, and a Bluthner grand piano. Springer says that there is also a wonderful sense of Arthur’s father’s history. Simon and I used to spend hours playing music together and discussing our ideas.
