Austin Peralta is a Los Angeles-based composer and pianist. He works in many contexts locally and internationally as a musician. Peralta began his training as a classical pianist at the age of five. He then expanded his musical palette to include all contemporary music genres, from jazz to rock. He is a pianist and composer, as well as working with other musicians. Peralta has recorded two albums to date as the leader for groups that included jazz legends Ron Carter, Billy Kilson and Buster Williams. He also collaborated with Steve Nelson and Marcus Strickland, who are Japanese subsidiaries of Sony Music. Notable collaborations include Flying Lotus, The Cinematic Orchestra and Thundercat.
