Axel Tosca Laugart, a Cuban-born pianist, is one of today’s most exciting young performers. Laugart was influenced by his family’s musical interests from an early age. His father and stepfather were both musicians, and his father’s love for guitars sparked his early interest in the instrument. At the age four, he began playing the guitar and the piano with his parents. Xiomada Laugart is Laugart’s mother and a well-known singer. He still performs with her today.
