Balance Wheel Group

Balance Wheel Group (BWG), a Hungarian jazz group from Budapest, was founded in 2016. Robert Szili, Akos Dorogi and others started playing music together in different formations. They became close friends, got to know one another and discovered they had similar musical tastes. Robert and Akos finally compiled their matching compositions, which they had created over the years. Their goal was to create a Hungarian Jazz band that can make music and have fun. The group consisted of Robert Szili guitar and Akos Dorogi keyboards. Zoltan Horvath was on the drums. Alex Berkesi played the bass guitar. Tamas Katai replaced Alex Berkesi as the drummer and Zoltan Horvath replaced Alex Berkesi at the bass guitar. Balance Wheel Group can be described as melodious jazz or smooth jazz. Jazz quartet members have many decades of combined musical experience. They also teach music and have their own jazz projects. Balance Wheel Group is committed to playing high-quality, entertaining jazz music with no restrictions. The Hungarian jazz group is available for concerts, festivals and other special events. The quartet’s musical style can be described as smooth jazz mixed with Latin, rock, and funky elements. Harmonic solutions and improvised solos reinforce jazz’s dominance. We are looking for people who enjoy melodic, high-quality pop-jazz. The band’s name inspired their first album, “Balance Wheel”. Our first album’s name is a result of a lot of thought and deliberate planning. Many members of the jazz group suggested the name of the band. The harmony between the members and music is symbolized by balance. The wheel represents the flow of time and continuity. We invite you to attend our events and to download our music. from https://bwg-smoothjazz.com/
